You Don’t Have To Grieve Alone.

Let’s Journey Together

INDIVIDUAL

Individual grief counseling provides one-on-one support tailored to your personal experience of loss. In a private, compassionate setting, you can explore your emotions, process unresolved questions, and develop healthy coping strategies at your own pace. This approach helps you move toward healing with guidance that fits your unique needs.

COUPLES

Couples grief counseling supports partners who are navigating loss together. Grief can affect communication, emotional connection, and daily life within a relationship. Counseling helps couples understand each other’s grief responses, strengthen support for one another, and rebuild connection while honoring what has been lost.

GROUP

Group grief counseling brings together individuals who share similar experiences of loss. In a safe and supportive group environment, participants can express their feelings, learn from others’ journeys, and find comfort in knowing they are not alone. The group dynamic fosters community, understanding, and mutual encouragement.

 Hello! I’m Jude L. Charles, M.Div

Certified Grief Counselor and Educator | Chaplain | Owner

I am a Certified Grief Counselor and Educator with many years of experience providing compassionate emotional and spiritual support. My work is shaped by a diverse background in chaplaincy, including service as a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain, as well as several years of dedicated care as both a hospice chaplain and a hospital chaplain.

Through these roles, I have walked alongside individuals and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. My approach integrates clinical skill, spiritual sensitivity, and a deep commitment to helping others navigate grief with dignity, clarity, and hope. Thank you for allowing me to come alongside you on your journey. It is an honor to serve you.

About Bluejay Grief Counseling & Services

Bluejay Grief Counseling & Services was created with a simple but deeply personal purpose: to provide a safe, compassionate space for individuals and families navigating the pain of loss. After many years serving as a chaplain supporting people in different settings such as hospitals, hospice care, corporate America, religious settings and the military, I witnessed firsthand how overwhelming grief can be when people feel they must face it alone. When grief is not met with kindness, competency and skillful care, it turns into hopelessness and despair.

This practice was born out of a calling to offer hope, healing, and guidance to those carrying heavy emotional and spiritual burdens. My mission is to walk with you through grief, honor your unique story, and help you rediscover strength, meaning, and connection along the way. Grief must be witnessed. You don’t have to grieve alone.

"Working with Bluejay Grief Counseling & Services was life-changing. I came in overwhelmed by loss and unsure how to move forward. The gentle guidance and compassionate support I received helped me find steady ground again. I finally feel like myself after months of feeling lost."
